Meet Brian Stewart

Decorated Army Veteran

Brian will always support our military and put America First. After experiencing 9/11 as a high school senior, Brian enlisted for active duty in the Army in 2003 and volunteered to serve in the infantry. He was assigned to the 3rd Infantry Division and was soon deployed to the Sadr City area of Baghdad. For his actions, Brian earned the Combat Infantryman’s Badge (CIB) and was twice awarded the Army Commendation Medal before he was honorably discharged in 2006.

Commitment to Our Community

As State Representative for Ohio’s 78th House District and a former County Commissioner, Brian is a strong conservative leader with a record of balancing budgets, fighting for low taxes, creating jobs, and standing up for the values that make America great. In addition, Brian maintains a successful law practice as a partner with Farthing & Stewart LLP in Circleville. In 2019, 2020, and 2021 he was named an “Ohio Rising Star” by Super Lawyers magazine, a distinction given to no more than 2.5% of attorneys in the state.

Dedicated Family Man

Brian lives in Ashville and attends Village Chapel Church with his wife, Letanya, a Nurse Practitioner, and their three children, Salem, Sidney, and Lincoln.
